2026 Session 1 Training Classes

(January- February Classes)



Dog Crates are required at all classes with the exception of Beginner Obedience, and Advanced Beginner Obedience.  Dogs must be crated when not in the ring.


Session starts January 5, 2026

Open registration starts December 15 at 12:00 am and closes December 19, 2025

Full Member Registration starts December 8 at 12:00 am  and closes December 19, 2025

Associate Member Registration starts December 12 at 12:00am and closes December 19, 2025

No registrations will be accepted after closing date of December 19, 2025

No Refunds after registration closes on December 19, 2025 

except those provided for in Policy 15 " Refunds"

To Register Find the class in the listing below.  You can also click on the class in the chart above which will take you to the class registration.  The list below  has the classes in chronological order according to start date.  Registration will show closed until Registration Opens for full members on Dec 8 @ 12 AM.  Tap on the "Register" button on the left hand side of the class listing and follow the questions.  Registration will open for Associate members on Dec 12 @12AM. Registration for Non-Members will open Dec 15 @ 12 AM.  If paying by check, money order or Canine Cash select "Invoice me" on the payment screen.  You will receive a pending confirmation and a copy of your invoice in your email.  Print the invoice and enclose it with your payment send to Betsy Powers 3306 N Eisenhower Ave.  Hernando, FL 34442.  Payment must be received within 5 days of registering or no later than Dec 19 which ever is earlier to retain your reservation.   Do not mail or drop off payment to the club.

    Prerequisites: Dogs in this class must be competing at the excellent or Master levels or have permission from the instructor.

        Class Description 

        Review and Build upon those skills you learned in Beginner Agility. By the end of the course you and your dog should be able to run a short course. This class can be repeated as needed.


        Prerequisites: Dogs must have completed the Beginning Agility Class or Introduction to Agility.


                   Dogs must be crated when not in the ring

          This class is designed for teams competing at Novice, Open or Excellent level. 


          The class will focus on different aspects of handling for Agility.  It is designed to improve you and your dog’s proficiency in running the course. Skills may include but are not limited to the following:  

          •  Weave entrances
          •  Independent Weaves
          •  Beginning distance handling
          •  Start line strategies
          •  Serpentines
          •  Backsides
          •  AKC FAST

          Homework is necessary. 


          Prerequisites: You and your dog must know basic obedience including a strong recall and stay. If your dog will not stay with you on a course, please consider the Advanced Beginners class. Dogs must be able to complete 6 weave poles on their own.  

          If you have any questions about the class or your ability to meet the prerequisites please contact the instructor.  See above for her contact information.
